ABOUT LACY BRINSON
San Antonio Singer-Songwriter
Lacy Brinson, a vocalist and songwriter in San Antonio, Texas, channels Loretta and Dolly in her songwriting, serving up female empowerment with a side of silliness and sass. Born and raised in Live Oak, Florida, and known as “Lacy Lee” to close friends and relatives, Lacy brought her Southern Charm to San Antonio in 2012, where she has been providing versatile musical entertainment to Central and South Texas crowds for more than a decade. In both 2023 and 2024, Lacy was nominated as a finalist for Best Female Country Vocalist at the San Antonio Country & Rock Music Awards. Lacy has been regularly featured on SA Live and Good Day SA, and she spends her free time mentoring fellow musicians and nurturing a collaborative creative environment in the Texas Hill Country.

As the granddaughter of a circuit-ridin' Southern Baptist preacher, Lacy got her start singing and performing in church. Lacy's original music draws from her Southern roots and tells her stories in a way that only she can tell them. Although Lacy is country to the core, obvious influences of Southern Rock, folk, bluegrass, pop, and even hip hop infuse her setlists. Those who frequent Lacy’s shows often find themselves singing along to her original music, plus a variety of covers as far ranging as Bob Wills to T-Pain. Such diverse song selection could be pulled off only by a performer with Lacy’s velvety voice and breezy musical charm. Don't just take our word for it - sit in on her live performance, and you'll get it.
